In October Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) concluded the Memorandum of Cooperation with University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. Within the Memorandum it is planned to implement joint projects, organize conferences and seminars as well as the exchange of students and faculty.
The University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli is public research university located in the Campania Region, Italy. Currently there are nearly 28 thousand students taught in five territorial areas. The main University’s building is in Caserta, but its academic departments are also placed in Naples, Aversa, Capua and Santa Maria Capua Vetere. The Law Department is situated in the last one, occupying two buildings – historic and contemporary.
Interaction with representatives of the Law Department began in April 2018 when the Administrative Law and Process Department of the Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) organized the participation of Italian colleagues in the international scientific and practical conference "Information technologies in public administration". The return visit took place in June 2018: at the invitation of the Italian side, a delegation led by the Head of the Administrative Law and Process Department went to the University of Campania. In June 2019 representatives of our University attended round table which was held at the Luigi Vanvitelli University.
It is expected to cooperate in scientific and educational activities, prepare events, and organize joint programs. We hope that the conclusion of the Memorandum will be the first step toward long-term and productive cooperation, will allow to implement joint projects as well as to perform student and faculty exchange programs.
